Our Process

The journey of a load

Every load that comes through our gate is checked, weighed, sorted and recovered. Here's what happens to it.

1

Arrive and check

Every vehicle is checked at the gate: booking, carrier registration, waste transfer note and a first look at the load.

2

Weigh in

Loads are weighed on our certified weighbridge and recorded for billing and digital waste tracking.

3

Tip and inspect

Loads are tipped in the reception area and inspected. Anything we can't accept is reloaded or quarantined.

4

Pre-sort

Bulky items, and materials that could damage the plant, are removed by machine and by hand.

5

Separate and sort

Screens, magnets and eddy current separators split the material by size and type. A picking team recovers what machines miss.

6

Bale, bulk and dispatch

Recovered materials are baled or bulked and sent to reprocessors. Residual waste goes for energy recovery rather than landfill.

Quality and traceability

Every load is weighed and recorded against its source.

Output quality is checked before dispatch.

Our records support your duty of care and reporting.
