Deposit & payment
Simple,
up-front pricing.
Every booking pays a £20 deposit, which comes off your bill. You're weighed in and out, and after you've tipped, the balance for the net weight is paid by card on the weighbridge.

Weighed in and out on our certified weighbridge. Your balance is worked out from the net weight.

General
What is a materials recovery facility?
A site where mixed waste is sorted into separate materials so they can be recycled or reused, instead of going to landfill.
Can you collect my waste?
We can only receive and process waste that's brought to our site. Contact us if you need support and we can put you in touch with a partner.
Can householders use the site?
No. We only accept commercial waste from licensed carriers.
What waste do you handle?
Mixed dry recyclables, and commercial, industrial, construction and demolition waste. See above for the full list of waste we can accept.
How do I set up a regular service?
Request a quote with your waste types and volumes, and we’ll come back to you.

Booking
Who can tip here?
Businesses with a valid waste carrier registration, bringing a 2, 4 or 8 yard skip or a van. We don’t accept household waste or cars.
Can I book by phone or email?
Online is quickest. If you can’t, email us or call during opening hours and we’ll book for you and send a £20 payment link. The slot is confirmed once it’s paid.
Can I turn up without a booking?
Only if there’s a free slot. Booked customers always go first and we may have to turn you away if we're too busy.
Do I need an account?
No. An account lets you see your bookings and pay from pre-paid credit, but you can make a booking as a guest.
How do I book?
Complete the booking form at the top of this page. You'll be able to pick a date and time slot, and pay a £20 deposit to secure your slot.
Can I book for today?
Yes, if a slot is free.
Can I book more than one slot?
Yes, you can add up to 5 bookings per request for different dates and times.
Changes
How do I cancel?
Use the link in your confirmation email, or email us. Cancel at least 24 hours before your slot for a full deposit refund.
What if I cancel later than that?
Cancellations within 24 hours, and no-shows, lose the deposit.
Can I change my slot?
Cancel and rebook. The 24-hour rule applies to the original booking.
Can I send a different vehicle?
Yes. Tell us, or let the gate know, and we’ll update your booking. It must be an accepted vehicle with accurate waste transfer note and carriers licence.
I’m running late.
Tell us before your slot and we’ll try to fit you into the next free one. If we're fully booked, we'll try our best but may need to turn you away.
What happens if you need to close the site?
We’ll contact you, refund your deposit and ask you to rebook.

£165 + VAT per tonne, with a 1-tonne minimum.
What happens to my deposit?
It’s deducted from your final bill.
How do I pay?
By card on the weighbridge, after you've tipped and weighed out. We don't accept cash or offer credit. Pre-paid options are available: contact us for information.
What if my card is declined?
You can pay by bank transfer on site. If payment can't be made, you'll need to reload your waste and take it away.
Can I dispute the weight?
The weighbridge is certified and the tickets you receive are final.
Will I get a VAT invoice?
Yes, emailed automatically to your booking email address.

Mixed non-hazardous commercial, construction and demolition waste. See What we accept above.
What can’t I tip?
Hazardous waste, asbestos, plasterboard, soil and stones, tyres, upholstered seating, batteries, gas bottles, electricals and liquids, among others.
Is there a surcharge for mixed loads?
No, all accepted waste is £165 + VAT per tonne.
What if my load has something you can’t accept?
We’ll refuse it at the gate, or ask you to reload the item. Anything found after you leave is charged back to you.
Do I need to know what’s in my load?
Yes. Your waste transfer note must describe it, and you’ll confirm it when booking.
On the day
What do I need to bring?
Your booking reference, a waste transfer note and your carrier registration number. Wear hi-vis and safety boots.
Who unloads?
You tip your own load, following staff directions.
How long does a visit take?
How long it takes depends on the size and type of your load. For loads which require more manual loading, we will try our best to help you. Please contact us if you think the load will take longer, and we'll do our best to accommodate.
What if my carrier registration isn’t valid?
We can’t let you tip, and the deposit is kept.
